Heat. Chinese checkers in medium wood. Inspired from "Heat", a Michael Mann's movie and the first movie in which Robert De Niro and Al Pacino share screen time (they are never in the same scene in The Godfather Part II). The story of a professionnal gangster (De Niro) and a pugnacious cop (Pacino) with a reciprocal fascination, involved in an infernal pursuit. This is the second version of this painting. Another board game with Al Pacino, extract from the same movie, can be created in a few times.

Sharon S. Sharon Stone becomes an icon of the 7th Art in 1992 when she plays the character of the enigmatic novelist Catherine Tramell in Basic Instinct, a Paul Verhoeven's movie. If her professional career is less luminous since a few years, she's still being a sex-symbol for many people around the world. Moreover, Sharon Stone is one of the rare (famous) women, beyond her obvious beauty, who has a quasi symmetrical face, which makes her more exceptional.

Marilyn. "There is much more books on Marilyn Monroe than on the Second World War. And there is a certain analogy between the two. She was the hell, but that was worth the sorrow." Billy Wilder. Indeed, what can we say about Marilyn Monroe. Everything was already written and done about her, except a board game, perhaps, representing Marilyn from one of her most famous photos. This one will be the subject of many magazine covers and notorious portraits created by Andy Warhol. Chinese checkers in medium wood.

Ordre organique. Inspired from the Wojtek Siudmak's creation, genious SciFi illustrator, heroic-fantasy master (most of his art has been used for book or disc covers), which was inspired by a famous Dali's sculpture (Venus de Milo with Drawers - 1936). For that, Dali will go to multiply all the representations of the ancient icon for a new sculpture between the Surrealism. This is the second version of this specimen. Medium wood board game.

Perpetual Cretion. This famous detail of the Sistine Chapel ceiling in Roma is extracted from the Michelangelo's monumental fresco (1512), achieved after 4 years. The Creation of Man (Adam) to whom God gives life is a major painting of our civilization. This version modestly try to suggest the evolution of Man through is creativity, in his most noble cause. But if men have created machines it could be possible today to see the opposite. Medium wood board game.

Mod'Art 1. Inspired from a Canetti's silkscreen. "Woman in long dress". I've always loved fashion designers drawings, sober and voluptuous, here in association with a timeless vintage style. Go see his website (useful link) to discover the work of this brilliant illustrator. The sobriety of his aerial painting is astonishing. Medium wood board game.

Blue Nude II. Chinese checker in medium wood. This famous creation of Matisse was realized in 1952. It still reveals today an incredible modernity.

'Round Midnight 1. Chinese checkers set in medium wood. A detail of a famous Louis Armstrong photography. The first of a serie devoted to jazz, in his most evocative visual version: black and white. Armstrong was a charismatic performer whose musical skills and bright personality transformed jazz into a popular art form. Probably the most famous jazz musician of the 20th century, he first achieved fame as a trumpeter, but towards the end of his career he was best known as a vocalist and was one of the most influential jazz singers.

'Round Midnight 3. The hands of Art Tatum (1909-1956). Medium wood game board. The third of the jazz serie. Here also, the principle of "closed-up" privileges the style, the atmosphere. From birth Arthur Tatum suffered from cataracts which left him blind in one eye, and with only very limited vision in the other. Pianist known for his virtuosic playing and creative improvisation, he drew inspiration from his contemporaries such as Thelonious Monk, Chick Corea, and Oscar Peterson.

Cartoon. A tribute to Tex Avery and his two main characters. They have crossed generations of kids and adults. Droopy appeared in 1943, one year after "The Wolf" his favorite enemy. Tex Avery is for me a reference for several reasons, his genius and his endless creativity, but also, the simplicity of his drawing which contributes to suggest a multitude of emotions pushed to the limits, so far from current techniques.
